What's the Emergency First Aid at Work course about?
This course is aimed at employees who wish to undertake such training for their own vocational progression and also to allow the employer to meet the requirement of health and safety regulations.
Please note, this course can be delivered on client premises and group rates are available on request.
On completion delegates will be able to:
- Appreciate the circumstances when CPR is required, and then implement the relevant procedures.
- Handle an unconscious casualty (including seizure)
- Control bleeding
- Recognise shock
- Deal with minor burns
A checklist will be used to assess a demonstration of each individual's ability in first aid techniques.
What will I be able to do after I've completed this course?We offer a wide range of occupational health and safety short courses, in addition to qualifications accredited by industry recognised awarding bodies. Please enquire for details.
What qualifications or experience do I need to do this course?There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Which qualification will I be awarded if I successfully complete the Emergency First Aid at Work course?On completion delegates will be awarded a level 2 certificate.
